Mr. Brainwash the alter-ego of Thierry Guetta a favourite of Me Art, is a French-born street artist. Known for his use of images from history, popular culture, and art history he belies that artwork is a medium to promote positivity, freedom, and love. Pushing the boundaries of contemporary art, he claims ‘Art has no rules. There’s no manual’. He is known for creating mass spectacles to promote and display his art, including his first exhibition ‘Life is Beautiful’ which attracted over 50,000 visitors. His rise to fame was documented in the Banksy-directed film Exit Through the Gift Shop. At one time it was speculated that perhaps this “crazy” French amateur videographer Thierry Guetta was in-fact that the real identification of Banksy due to his ties to the elusive he street artist, however throughout the last decade after selling millions of pounds worth of artwork and having his artwork exhibited worldwide in front of his Global fan base Mr Brainwash has evidently become a bona fide Artist. Some of his most high-profiles fans consist of the Obamas, the Kardashians, the Pope and our very own Joseph Lewis.
